This song is over a decade old. I just want to reminisce it because its message fully encompass the the true meaning of Easter. It was composed by Trina Belamide and sung by Jamie Rivera for the World Youth Day circa 1995.

Easter is a time for renewal,
Easter is rebirth,
Easter is forgiveness,
Easter is resurrection.

Easter is bringing out a new you. Leaving behind hatred, fear, and misery that you've been dragging along. The risen Christ has reminded us once again that He has triumphed for us and that it's ok to let go and surrender all those heavy burdens to Him. Because He wants us to be borne again. He wants us to renew our faith in Him. He wants us to be happy.

Easter is our true Christmas. It's the foundation of our faith. Because without it, without Christ's resurrection everything is pointless. Let us rejoice for He is risen and He is risen indeed.
